JAG (Just Another Band) will be celebrating three decades of Emo Adams’ music career with a night dedicated to him at GrandWest on Saturday 24 March at 20:00.
JAG, the band Emo started with his brother, Loukmaan Adams, and friends, Sury Boltman, Nur Abrahams and Mono Dullisear, more than 20 years ago will perform together on stage for this joyous occasion.
“Emo is a dynamic performer and he has had such an impact on the local music scene,” says Elouise Matthys, PR and promotions manager at GrandWest. “He has made a name for himself for consistently performing excellent shows. Audiences just cannot get enough of him.”
JAG has not performed together since their final tour a few years ago, which sold 10 000 tickets.
As Sury Boltman now lives in Europe, this is likely to be the very last time audiences will have a chance to see them performing together.
JAG fans can look forward to a night of perfect harmony, vibrant ensembles, sizzling solos and hilarious anecdotal stories that have become synonymous with these top entertainers.
“Anyone who has seen Emo perform will know that he has been holding his own with the best of the best in South African theatre,” says Matthys. “Emo always has a trick or two up his sleeve to make the evening extra special.”
Tickets are available at Computicket at R150 and R350. Doors open at 19:00.
