serves 4 – 30 minutes

  • 2 sheets of flaky pastry
  • 10 slices of ham
  • 25 ml wholegrain mustard
  • 250 g grated cheddar
  • 1 egg, beaten

Preheat oven to 200 °C. Put one sheet of pastry on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Arrange ham on top. Keep about 2 cm of pastry uncovered all the way around. Smear mustard on the ham and sprinkle the cheese on top. Cover with the second sheet of pastry and press the edges together well. Brush with the beaten egg and bake until pastry is golden brown and done. Cut into large squares and serve warm.
