(Serves 4)

  • 1 kg baby potatoes
  • 1 whole garlic bulb, broken up
  • 30 ml wholegrain mustard
  • 125 ml olive oil
  • 20 ml coarse salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 6 fresh sprigs of rosemary

Preheat oven to 180 °C. Nick each potato a few times. Put potatoes and garlic in oven-roasting dish. Combine mustard and olive oil and pour over potatoes. Sprinkle with some coarse salt and black pepper. Add rosemary and oven-roast for about 50 - 60 minutes until potatoes are soft.

Serve with: Leg of lamb, braaivleis or roast chicken
