  • 100 ml honey
  • 400 g (500 ml) sugar
  • 200 g (500 ml) unsalted peanuts
  • 100 g (250 ml) whole shelled almonds
  • 250 g (416 ml) sesame seeds

Line a pan of about 27 x 17 cm with baking paper. Melt honey and sugar on low heat. Keep stirring until the sugar is dissolved, and then boil until the syrup is a light caramel colour. Take off the heat and add peanuts, almonds and sesame seed. Mix well. Pour the mixture into the lined pan and press flat. Cut into bars before it gets too hard. Allow to cool in the pan and tip out when hard and cooled.
