  • 500 ml water
  • 3 ml salt
  • 10 ml butter
  • 225 g mielie-meal

Bring water, salt and butter to the boil in a pot. Mix mielie-meal with a little water to form a smooth paste. Add paste to the water and stir until pap is thick and cooked through. Serve with tamatiesmoor.
