Two of our national parks are offering a holiday programme in the bush especially for kids.

Addo Elephant National Park

If you’re in the Eastern Cape or planning a visit to Addo this December, staff at the park are ready to entertain and inspire your kids.

Addo is offering a special guided game drive for children, during which they will encounter the first inhabitants of the park, as well as many other animals that call the park home.
They will learn interesting facts about nature – from the Big Five to smaller creatures like the flightless dung beetle.

The game drive can accommodate a minimum of five and a maximum of 22 kids. Parents can secure their child’s spot by signing them up early at the Game Drives Reception office.

How much? R60 per child aged 5 – 13.

When? Every day from 4 – 14 December 2017, at 9am.

Apart from the game drives, a range of activities will take place at 1pm and 3pm at the park’s interpretive centre at no extra cost. These activities are open to all ages. Here’s what’s on:

Thursday 7 December: Nature walk
Friday 8 December: Movie time
Monday 11 December: Face painting
Tuesday 12 December: Scavenger hunt
Wednesday 13 December: What is your favourite animal?
Thursday 14 December: Movie time
