MTB action awaits, enter now!

The FNB Wines2Whales (W2W) has set its dates for the 2019 instalment and general entries open next week.

As per W2W tradition, this year’s events will again feature continued route refinements, with participants making the trek from Lourensford Estate in Somerset West to Hermanus. Given the popularity of the race and limited entries, participants are encouraged to enter as soon as possible to avoid the disappointment of missing out.

One of the key traditions of W2W is the opening of entries on Valentine’s Day (Thursday 14 February). Riders who took part in any of the 2018 events will have 24 hours to beat the rush, though, as entries open for them at 09:00 on Wednesday 13 February. General entries open the following day at 09:00.

Entrants can choose from three entry options. The standard tent entry (R14 950) includes a two-person tent per rider, those requiring more comfort can select the luxury tent option (R20 950). Riders wishing to stay off-site in one of the Elgin Valley’s many bed and breakfasts can select the “meals only” entry option (R13 250) without a tent in the race village.

The W2W Chardonnay event takes place 25 - 27 October, followed by the Pinotage ride, 29 - 31 October, and the Shiraz event, 1 - 3 November.
