When two owners of separate security companies realised they had the same vision, they made it their mission to combine their strengths and manage security services the right and only way – by being hands-on. Between them, Garth Briggs and Koos van Rooyen have wisdom emanating from a combined 60 years’ security and business experience. Briggs was a founder of Thorburn Security Solutions as well as the local operational security company Southern Cross Security Services (SCS), which Stellenbosch and the surrounding Boland areas are familiar with.

Van Rooyen, an ex-SAPS captain and Thorburn MD, is a security industry veteran and is well equipped to guide a new venture such as Wolf Security to great success.

But how?

Part of our conviction is the fact that:

1. The core implementer of our vision is, and will always be, best management and business practices and

2. By uniting the experience and values of our management team, Wolf is creating new momentum through an old way of doing business. This entails:

a. Building and maintaining honest relationships with our clients, since both directors are owners and hands-on involved in day-to-day dealings;

b. Stewarding a total quality approach towards each physical aspect of all our service offerings, we are able to see these quality nuggets from years of experience, expertise and some wits;

c. Investing in our people and nurturing a strong Wolf Pack is how we aim to build a company of integrity and excellence; and

d. Being a dynamic and responsive company – a handpicked team that performs our designated tasks with passion and fervour.

These may be primary and obvious principles, yet we have the courage to walk our talk.

Wolf Security Solutions forms part of a bigger picture – the Wolf Group. The Wolf Group is structured in a way that empowers our employees. We have established an employee share trust on behalf of the employees, and those who qualify are beneficiaries of the trust and share in the company’s successes.

Wolf has already expanded its territories and gained new contracts in widespread geographical areas around the Western Cape. Broomstix Hermanus is also a venture in our array that increases our footprint, experience and name in the cleaning industry.
