Fans witness basketball games

ENTHUSIASTIC fans watched a number of spectacular Nelson Mandela Bay Basketball Association (NMBBA) league games at Raymond Mhlaba Indoor Sports Complex on Sunday.

In the only women’s game that was played, Nelson Mandela University (NMU) Madibaz shared a 20 all draw with PE Comets’ women’s team.

In another game University of Fort Hare Tigers gave Spartans a run for their money despite their 66-69 loss.

Fans were kept on their feet when Vets played to a 20-20 draw against Invaders.

Jeffreys Bay Ballers and New Brighton also played their hearts out in their 20-20 draw.

Home side PE Comets had a mammoth task when they earned a hard-fought 57-55 win from the UFH Tigers.
