CELEBS: Kanye West says he will not release new music until he's 'done' with Universal and Sony contracts

Kanye West has reportedly sworn not to release any music until he is freed from his contract with Universal Music Group and Sony/ATV Music Publishing.

According to Variety, Kanye tweeted: “I’m not putting no more music out till I’m done with my contract with Sony and Universal... On God... in Jesus name... come and get me.”

The rapper, who recently said he had been hospitalised due to too much texting, went on to request apologies from fellow star’s J Cole and Drake.

“I need a public apology from J Cole and Drake to start with immediately... I’m Nat Turner... I’m fighting for us.”

In the flood of tweets, Kanye also spoke about meeting with Jay-Z, Variety writes. Several of the initial tweets have now been removed from the rapper’s account.

In the remaining posts, Kanye revealed that his intentions are to squash any beef with Black artists. “I’m not industry bro... I don’t care... I’m in service to Christ... we need world healing... I miss my brothers... I refuse to argue with black men on labels we don’t own... even twitter.”

In another tweet, he continued: “I have the utmost respect for all brothers... we need to link and respect each other... no more dissing each other on labels, we don’t own.” According to NME, Kanye has been working with EMI, which is owned by Sony/ATV, since 2003. Kanye also previously attempted to sue EMI to get out of his contract, the publication reports.
