Boule, wine at Bastille Festival

It will be all red, white and blue in Franschhoek this weekend when one of the highlights of the Cape Winelands, namely the Bastille Festival, takes place. Come and enjoy the festival as well as other great activities in Franschhoek.

Winemaking & movies festival - 13 July

Don’t miss out on the première of the movie Back to Burgundy at The Franschhoek Cellar on Friday 13 July, an event organized by the Consulate General of France in Cape Town. The Première will be followed by a cocktail menu. Tickets cost R350 p.p.

The Bastille food & wine marquee - 14-15 July

The Food & Wine Marquee, which is set against the backdrop of the historic Huguenot Monument, is the place to be and be seen. Sample the superb Franschhoek wines on offer or treat your taste buds to the selection of delicious gourmet fare available to purchase from some of Franschhoek’s well-known eateries. The quirky caricature artist who captures your Bastille experience and live music add to the elements for a fabulous festival.

Live performances on Saturday with Veronique and Newton and on Sunday Veronique and UNCORKED.Tickets The festival takes place at the Huguenot Monument Grounds and tickets are R350 p.p. on Saturday and R280 p.p. on Sunday. Children under 18 free.
