Sounds like Christmas
Welkom’s own Ovation Entertainment will for the fourth consecutive year present its stirring Christmas spectacular, Sounds of Christmas #4. The production takes place at the Ernest Oppenheimer Theatre tonight (07/11) at 19:00. This year the show has a warm homely feeling, yet the music is masterfully arranged and performed by local vocalists and musicians. The red-carpet experience promises to be the highlight of the year in Welkom, and is certainly not to be missed. Sounds of Christmas #4 is not your typical sing-a-long Christmas song show. Instead, the artists will entertain you with Christmas songs performed in a way that will leave you with goosebumps. The Christmas tunes are performed in various genres such as jazz, swing, classical, opera and contemporary, which means it is definitely a show to be enjoyed by everybody. There are still tickets available at R120 per person, and R100 for pensioners. Call 057-357-1214 for bookings. From the left are, front: Trudene Marais, Annemie Nel, Victoria Mohapi and Charlene Scarcella; back: Schalk Zastron, Frank Janse van Rensburg, Dean Scarcella and Dusty van Zyl.
