Branch offers full range of services

A new addition to the real estate market in the Eastern Free State is the first branch of 3%.Com Properties who launched their services on Friday (10/05) with a special function at The Wooden Spoon Restaurant.

JJ Attorneys Inc. in Bethlehem is now a member of the 3%.Com Properties franchise group.

This franchise enables attorneys and conveyancers to function as real estate agencies within their existing legal practices.

This branch will perform the full range of services involved in a property transaction in Bethlehem and Clarens.

In Bethlehem, Jac van Niekerk, attorney agent, will be there to help, with his father, Johann van Niekerk, who will join the team later this year.

For any property related matters in Clarens, Amy Marx will assist clients to find their permanent or weekend home.

At a later stage, they will also provide their services in Sotho and Tswana.

The attorneys will provide a full range of services from evaluating the property, listing the property, marketing and selling the property, negotiating the sale, arranging finance, registering the bond, transferring the property, to finally paying the seller the proceeds of the sale.

According to Daniel Heynike, attorney at Heynike Inc. and operations manager of 3%.Com Properties, this service is truly unique as it is performed exclusively by attorneys, who are seen as fully fledged real estate brokers; the commission is a mere 3% plus VAT and it is fully comprehensive.

Heynike said this is the 52nd franchise of 3%.Com Properties that has opened nationwide.

Jac van Niekerk said family plays an important role in his life.

“That is what I have experienced at 3%.Com Properties. They are like family. I wouldn’t have been able to do this without their help.”

Schalk Bezuidenhout, comedian, was the host of the evening.
