Event uplifts women

The Christian Revival Church (CRC) in Bethlehem will host its annual #SHE Bethlehem and Eastern Free State Women’s Conference.

This two-day conference is held on Friday (11/10) and Saturday (12/10) at the CRC’s premises on the corner of Naude and Louw Street.

According to this church, it will be a conference filled with fellowship, fun and glamour. This year’s theme is: “My story, His glory”.

“The theme speaks of women who carry a powerful testimony of His goodness in their lives,” said Silvia Mathews, personal assistant at CRC.

“This year is a celebration of His goodness and mercy towards us, and a testament of what Jesus has done in our lives.”

Past. Sarina Labuschagne, the speaker at the conference, will touch on women’s God-given authority and highlight their responsibility to make a difference in the lives of the less fortunate.

The pastor of CRC International, Past. Nyretta Boshoff-Gibbons, will address the much-needed topic of change in the country concerning the abuse against women and children. She is of the opinion that God does not take lightly to it, and that the church should also take a strong stance against it.

Siba Mtongana, international chef and author and the presenter of the Food Network’s Siba’s Table and Siba Bites, will visit the Eastern Free State for the first time.

She will share her story of how God has given her favour to achieve success in her life, how God has led her and blessed her with international favour.

Past. Sharon Jeffery, who is a familiar speaker at this conference, will also share a powerful message.

The dress code for Friday evening is “You were made to sparkle”.

Saturday’s dress code is “Bloom, a beautiful process of becoming”.

There is limited space at this year’s conference, with only 900 spots available for registration.

Combo tickets are available at R230 per person.

Limited tickets for the Friday evening are available at R180 per person.
