Community donate shoes

Little ones from Steynville Primary received shoes thanks to community members and the Piketberg police on Wednesday 29 May.

The school identified 53 learners who needed new shoes. The local police and various community role players came together with the local foreign national shop owners to collect money to buy the shoes. According to WO S.M. Lourens the children were delighted with the donation. “What a delight it was to see the faces of these learners as they received their very own shoe box containing a pair of shoes. This is but one of many projects to follow in giving back to the community and children of Piketberg in need,” said Lourens.

The group thanks everyone who helped to make the donation possible.
