Premier’s office satisfied with ‘safe local businesses’

Team Premier recently visited businesses within the Saldanha Bay municipal area with the purpose to assess and assist with Covid-19 safety measures.

Team Premier is a community liaison team from the Western Cape Premier Alan Winde’s office.

“We wanted to see if they are ensuring store capacity is kept to a minimum, have sanitisers and are ensuring staff and customers are wearing masks at all time,” Lameez Gamieldien, one of the team members from the premier’s office explained to Weslander.

“All businesses that we had visited had measures in place, and we were very happy and pleased to see that. The main purpose of the visit was to ensure awareness but also ensure that clients and staff are kept safe.”

Some of the businesses that were visited include World Focus Signs, West Volt, Joe’s Barber Shop, Lawton’s Auto Service Centre and an Avon representative.
