There is no denying 2020 has been a difficult year.
We have had to become accustomed to a new way of doing and living, of being.
Many have lost loved ones and were not given the opportunity to say goodbye due to restrictions.
Some lost their income and needed to come up with alternative means to earn money to feed their families.
It has been brutal on our mental health.
Suddenly you had to distance yourself from loved ones and were not allowed to interact, even just hug them.
It has also been a year of reflections, you were given an opportunity to reflect on the important things in your life.
An opportunity to reset the clock and decide how you intentionally want to live your life. What kind of parent, partner, daughter, friend you want to be.
While many were forced to stay indoors during the lockdown, they were also forced to spend time with their families.
Due to losing your job you were forced into starting the business you had always dreamed of. You had time to get to know you partner again. Parents could start playing with their children again.
Many started a new hobby and learned a new skill. Going into the festive season, typically a time to unwind and spend with family and friends, let’s be more purposeful with our time.
Make every moment count. As 2020 has taught us, it may be your last.
