I’ve now had two bad experiences at the Provincial Hospital.
In the first instance I felt unwell - had breathing difficulties and diarrhoea. I went to the pharmacy to get an asthma pump and when that didn’t help I went to the hospital where they told me to do a Covid-19 test. I was not allowed to see the doctor. After the test I asked if they weren’t going to check my breathing again, they put a thing on my finger for stats and said my breathing is fine. I was sent home and told to take pain pills but no meds or antibiotics were given. After a few days I still felt unwell and phoned a number I was given with my previous visit. I was told to come to the hospital to see a doctor and be isolated. When I got to the hospital I explained my situation to the receptionist who in a very rude and abrupt way told me I should go to the clinic or wait until I get my results. I would not have gone to the hospital if I didn’t feel like I needed assistance. I have never been so disgusted in my life.
