GoodLuck on at Mykonos fest

Famed for their infectious beats, the trio of the electronic band GoodLuck will take to the stage at the Mykonos Festival on Saturday 16 December. They will join 11 other popular local artists, such as Francois van Coke, Lloyd Cele, Refentse and Jay and Emo Adams, as part of the two-day family fun fiesta organised annually by Mykonos Casino and Resort.

With Juliet Harding on vocals, Matthew O’Connell on the saxophone and keyboard, and Ben Peters as producer, GoodLuck has created a modern sound that is being hailed as truly African with the ability to cross over internationally.

The band has enjoyed a successful run over the past six years, with highlights such as being nominated for a slew of South African Music Awards (SAMAs) and sharing the stage with Groove Armada, Bassment Jaxx, The Petshop Boys and Paul Oakenfold.

In 2015, they were selected to open for Pharrell Williams as part of his world tour.

Be sure to book your tickets to the Mykonos Festival to hear them perform fan favourites like Taking it Easy, Hop on/Hop off and Find Me in the Forest, along with their latest track, I’ve Been Thinking About You.

The Mykonos Festival takes place on Friday 15 and Saturday 16 December. Gates open at 14:00 on Friday and 10:00 on Saturday.

Tickets will be available through Computicket, at Mykonos Casino and at the entrance to the event. Kids under age 14 will be admitted at R50 per day, while the price for those age 15 and older is R100 per person per day on the Friday and R150 per person per day on Saturday.
