Saturday is market day

Take a leisurely stroll through stalls that showcase the best of the Breede Valley. Enjoy the tranquillity of a bubbling fountain while sipping on a latté and keeping an eye on the little ones having fun. This is what Our Local Market will offer: an opportunity for Worcester residents with good taste to buy local, and to sit back and relax on a Saturday morning.

Our Local Market will kick off in Q Square, around the fountain and kiddies’ play area on Saturday 28 May. From 09:00 until 14:00 shoppers will be able to browse a variety of upmarket crafts, freshly ground coffee, wines, olive products, artisan breads and other tasty treats. The music and the mood will be just right for a cuppa and a chat with friends at Café Hugo, while the kids are absorbed in the sand art, clay play, pick-up sticks and jungle gym.

Apart from its obvious value as a lifestyle event for Worcester, says Q Square marketer Debbie Germishuys, Our Local Market will also bring talented entrepreneurs great exposure to local buyers and showcase the CBD as a bustling hub for economic activity.

For more information, phone Debbie on 023 342 2347 or 076 198 9171.
