Boschendal is preparing to celebrate the bountiful harvest of its sustainable and regenerative farm at this year’s Harvest Festival, taking place from 31 March to 2 April.
The festival will feature delicious flavours, mouth-watering food, live entertainment, family-friendly activities and more, providing guests with an unforgettable opportunity to experience the farm life their way at one of South Africa’s most iconic and historic farms.
On Friday 31 March there will be a Friday night market. An exciting selection of harvest festival activities designed for younger explorers will instil a love of the farm life in even the youngest visitor. Entrance is free from 15:00 to 21:00.
On Saturday 1 April, Boschendal is bringing the abundant flavours of harvest to your basket with a farmers’ market showcasing the best of this year’s harvest. The harvest market takes place at The Werf from 09:00 to midday, and entrance is free.
For the more adventurous culinary enthusiast or health-conscious visitor, book now for the Saturday Plum Fermentation Workshop hosted in partnership with Kombukarious on Saturday 2 April. Space is limited, and costs are R850 per person.
To round off a wonderful weekend, join the Harvest Long Table Lunch on Sunday 2 April. Costs are R850 per adult (with a choice of a meat or vegetarian menu) and R150 per child.
