Paarl Mall is excited to announce an expansion in its retail offering which will grow the mall by over 3 000 m².
This extension will bring with it the opening of some fantastic new stores. They are proud to be welcoming West Pack Lifestyle, only the second one in the Western Cape, Volpes, Dial-a-Bed, Tiger Wheel and Tyre and some additional line shops.
While it already has so many great stores and offering in-centre, this expansion promises to further enhance your shopping experience. Paarl Mall is ideal for everyday shopping for fashion, homeware, groceries and more – all under one roof.
They’re already home to over 90 stores and offer a convenient shopping experience for all. However, changes in the centre started a while ago, not only in the preparation of the expansion, but to enhance the experience with added quality brands and an increased footprint in some stores, where the demand from the customers has been significant.
Some of the latest additions to the centre have been Kauai, Pep Home, Sheet Street Absolute Pets, and Vida E Caffe. Another store opening soon is Refinery which will complement the existing fashion offering.
Over the last year @Home, Totalsports, Cotton On, and De Jagers have been able to upgrade to a larger footprint, with Pick n Pay Clothing and Mr Price Sport revamping their stores for a more modern shopping experience. Sportscene will soon extend into the stores adjacent to theirs, along with that an upgraded look.
The development started in March and the opening is planned for end November 2022. Paarl Mall would like to use this opportunity to apologise to all their shoppers and tenants for the inconvenience, noise, and dust at the Woolworths entrance.
Unfortunately, to accommodate the expansion, some trees will need to be removed, and the community can be assured the new design will incorporate numerous trees and will more than triple the number of trees currently in the parking area. The great news is that visitors can therefore expect more shade with more trees once the new design has been implemented.
The main road will be re-routed through the parking lot in this period until the new road is complete. But the community must rest assured the road will always be accessible.
