PENALTY, GRIQUAS, DU PLESSIS! 0-3: The line-out is secured and they go wide. They string seven phases together before securing another penalty at the breakdown and Du Plessis opens his account with a good kick.
PENALTY, CHEETAHS, PIENAAR! 3-3: After a few resets at the scrum the Cheetahs come away with it. They run the ball wide before securing an offside penalty. Pienaar levels the score!
After a few basic errors from both teams Griquas feed a scrum near halfway.

Blommetjies secures a Cheetahs ball and they progress. After some kicking up and down the Cheetahs feed a line-out near the 22.
Once again Griquas come away with the Cheetahs line-out ball. They then secure a penalty and Du Plessis finds a good touch.
Griquas secure their set-piece and go wide before the Cheetahs turn it over to only then spill the ball in the tackle.
After a short stoppage and a few resets Griquas secure the scrum and make their way into the 22 before turning it over.

TRY, CHEETAHS, BRITS! 21-3: The Cheetahs throw the ball wide and David Brits side-steps at pace to open the Griquas defence and he is OVER! Too much pace! Good work Blommetjies in the build-up! The conversion is over!
HALF-TIME: CHEETAHS 23-3 GRIQUAS. The Cheetahs take a 20 point lead into the break after that waste at the end from Griquas. The visitors must score first after the break/
Griquas secure the subsequent line-out and drive forward. They then go wide. Good defending by the Cheetahs to keep them out and turn it over. Griquas have yet another penalty. It leads to another and now Peyper warns the Cheetahs. They take a tap and go before they try and kick to the corner and it flies into the empty seats.
NO TRY, GRIQUAS, OBI! Obi is over but the TMO rules that the final pass before the try was scored went forward! Griquas have a penalty instead.
